Meet our Newest School Show Performer and Crew Member, Alexander Goldstein!

We are thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Alexander Goldstein to The Story Ship crew! A seasoned actor, educator, and entertainer, Alexander brings with him a dynamic range of experience and a deep passion for performance and storytelling that perfectly aligns with our mission to inspire young minds through the arts.

Alexander’s impressive background spans both screen and stage. His on-camera work includes roles in acclaimed television shows and films, such as Fox Searchlight’s The Menu and AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead. His screen experience has honed his ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences, making him an invaluable addition to our team as we continue to innovate and expand our multimedia storytelling.

On stage, Alexander has delighted theatergoers in a wide array of productions. He has taken on beloved roles in musicals and plays such as Spamalot, Peter Pan, and Frederick!, showcasing his versatility and command of both comedic and dramatic material. His stagecraft is rooted in a strong audience engagement—a skill that make him especially well-suited to The Story Ship’s interactive educational shows.

If you’ve ever wandered the historic streets of Savannah, Georgia, you might have already encountered Alexander in one of his many colorful street performances. Whether portraying the iconic Forrest Gump or a lively swashbuckling pirate, he has brought joy, wonder, and laughter to countless passersby with his memorable character work and natural charisma. His ability to blur the line between performer and storyteller in public spaces speaks to his unique talent for making learning and entertainment accessible and fun.

In addition to his performing talents, Alexander is also deeply committed to education.
